Hello. My name is Bethany (Fehlinger) McKay. I am a cradle Catholic, but have embraced my faith over the years as I saw it transform the lives around me. I am embracing the Jubilee of Mercy to be a light to this world and a good Catholic example. I want to embrace the change that mercy brings, as Pope Francis said: “This is the best thing we can feel: It changes the world,” he said. “A little mercy makes the world less cold and more just. We need to understand properly this mercy of God, this merciful Father, who is so patient.” (source).
I am a freelance editor and writer, and a former newspaper journalist. I live with my husband and our calico cat named Maggie in the Mid-Atlantic.
